Mailbox Nationwide is cutting its carbon footprint caused by leaflet distribution by drastically changing its policies towards meetings. We will now conduct meetings wherever possible by conference calls, or by online messaging. This, we hope, will support our efforts to be a carbon neutral company by 2012

There are many types of businesses that would be ideal to have a Leaflet Distribution campaign that used a Leaflet that had an organic, rustic feel. Juice Bars, Health Food shops, Farmers Markets, Fruit Farms are good examples, but the list is endless, anything that promotes health, well being, good lifestyle, nature etc.

Some of the information that I have found suggests that tree planting as the offsetting method can have draw backs and that it is just deferring the issue. Whilst the trees do absorb the CO2 whilst they are growing, once they die they produce large quantities of CO2 as they decompose, this all sounds rather scary !

Leaflet Distribution like all business in the UK does have some environmental impact and we at Mailbox Nationwide try to consider this at all times,  often by opening your mind to these issues it is possible to save money, which obviously is great for any business and also its customers due to lower costs.

Mailbox Nationwide are currently exploring Carbon Offsetting and how this can interact with Leaflet Distribution. Our research so far leads us to believe that it is not as straight forward or simple as first appears, so our research will continue.
