Quite Simple…We cover the Whole UK….
We are often asked, Can you do a Leaflet Distribution in my Area ? and the answer is always a very big Yes, we have the infrastructure to cover all UK areas. Obviously there are areas of the country that are a little more difficult, perhaps the very remote areas of Scotland, but we can still cover them, this may just take a little longer.
We can target all UK areas using a number of methods, using maps, postcode areas, radii from given points, council or constituency boundaries and many more, but our main focus is targeting the areas that you would like covered.
To find out how we can help you, call our one of our team on 01395 232868.

This week we were approached from a client that was planning his next Leaflet Distribution, he has already done two successful campaigns over the last year, but now wishes to try a different approach. His target area has around 10,000 houses, which in his last two campaigns has covered just once, this time however he has stock of 50,000 leaflets and plans to cover the same area 5 times over a 5 week time span. This has to be one of the most effective ways to execute a great campaign. Firstly it gives you 5 times the chance of your media being seen once, more more importantly, with the regular re-coverage of the areas the possible multi views of the same media will increase his public profile and brand awareness. Whilst every business is hungry for instant sales, it is very important to remember that sales from repeat advertising can happen at any time, so the chances are that you will gain extra sales in the time periods that you are not actively marketing.

In the Leaflet Distribution Industry two phrases often crop up, Penetrations Rates and Recognition Levels, it is very important to fully understand what these mean, and what it means to every Leaflet Delivery that takes place across the whole industry, this is true for every company not just specific ones.
Penetration Rates are a guide percentage of the Maximum Level of Penetration that can be expected across a distribution area. For example, if an area had 10,000 addresses and a company quoted a Maximum penetration rate of 75%, that company would expect to deliver to a maximum of 7,500 of those addresses. Penetration levels vary across different areas of the country and for different reasons, City centres often have blocks of flats and gated communities that only allow access to residents, whereas very rural areas have lots of property scattered along country lanes, and down long access tracks. Properties that have possible dangerous access, perhaps by having dogs on the premises or that have stickers asking for no leaflets will also obviously be excluded. Companies suggest different levels of penetration, but be aware of levels that jusst seem to good to be true.
It is worth taking note that no company guarantees to deliver to every property, or even guarantees to deliver to a specific penetration level, it is just not practical. The only possible way to guarantee that every property receives your media is to have it signed for, but the only draw back then is that the prices for delivery would climb from a few pence per copy to a number of pounds per copy…. How many Leaflet Distribution would take place on this basis if the cost was possibly £2000 for every 1000 copies delivered ?

If you have been following the recent posts you will have seen that we have been talking about leaflet design and the content that is included, if you have now decided to create your own media, and that you have taken the advice from the previous posts, now is the time to put your thoughts into action.
I will assume that you will have a computer that has a reasonable specification, can either be pc or Mac format, many graphics based industries are Mac based though, but I believe that is a choice of personal preference. You will need software to perform the various tasks that will be part of the creation process, the design and complexity will determine how many different programmes that you will need.
The first and main function that you will need to perform is to create the actual page layup and design, so a programme for this will be needed. Secondly if you are to add some photographs to your page you will need a photograph editor to change setting such as image sizes and resolution, perhaps to change colour settings, or to perform any special effects that you choose. Most media design programmes will also be able to create graphics, for perhaps logos, or design features, if yours does not, that is another that you will need. Finally you will need to check that your main creation programme can output the produced file at the correct resolution and in the correct format. Now you have checked all these items, you are ready to go !

If you are arranging to have your stock collected and it is currently palletised please leave it that way, it is far cheaper, efficient and dare I say it probably more environmentally friendly to have your stock collected on a large truck rather than in a van. The truck will need access to where the pallets are stored, and will need to be moved with pump trucks, the trucks will have a tail lift, so a fork lift is not necessary.
