How Is Your Brand Awareness ?

November 11th, 2008 Posted in Marketing

When most people think of advertising it is often instant gains that they are hoping to receive, but successful advertising is far more than that. Often if you are advertising a particular service or product, only a percentage of the people that see your marketing media will need that service or product at that time, so to make the most from your campaign you need to think about Brand Awareness, as it is this that may well bring you rewards long after your campaign has finished.

For example, if you are marketing a plumbing business, how many people that see your marketing media will need a plumber on that day, probably very few, but the number that need a plumber over the next year will be significantly greater, this is where Brand Awareness comes in. You need to make sure that your company name is seen repeatedly throughout the year, after a while, your company name will have a very much greater chance of being recalled when anyone thinks about plumbing, and hopefully leading to a direct sales lead, it is then up to you to convert that call into a sale.

Instant sales are great, but long term business growth is even better.
