Leaflet Distribution, Use Recycled Paper

November 10th, 2008 Posted in News

With the current value of paper for recycling falling by the day we believe that using recycled paper could soon offer great advantages in terms of cost. Obviously all businesses or organisations need to have media printed for their leaflet distribution, and this is often a fairly large percentage of the overall cost of any campaign.

As printing costs do affect the distribution industry directly we keep a keen eye on what is happening in the paper markets. Over the last 3 weeks or so, the demand for scrap paper has fallen significantly from the Chinese market, which was probably the biggest importer of recycled paper from the UK, and with this large reduction in demand the price for this recycled paper is falling very quickly. We believe that very soon paper mills will be offering recycled paper for reprinting at very competitive prices, one to increase demand for the product, and secondly to start moving some of the stock that is growing daily.

Until the the World as a whole turns around this economic situation, the demand from China will probably stay at this reduced rate, so until that time comes watch out for great offers on printing using recycled paper.
