Your leaflet and the images on it have to be strong enough to catch the eye of potential customers and make them want to investigate further. As this is the intention of leaflet distribution, you can see why planning is important.

Leaflet delivery is one of the most cost effective ways of informing the public about organisations, causes or companies. Leaflets make people aware of your brand which helps the public gain trust in your company or organisation. In order to effectively promote yourself using leaflet distribution, the first step is to ensure that the leaflet design will be appealing to people reading it.

A leaflet has several aspects which are dependent on the quality of the design. The top three inches of your leaflet are the most important as this section is what people are going to judge it by. This will then determine whether they’re going to read the rest of your leaflet, or throw it in the nearest bin.

When looking into leaflet distribution, it is important to be aware how to maximise your advertising campaign’s effectiveness. The first and most important thing to consider is where your target audience is.

If you are offering household services for instance then leaflet delivery direct through people’s letterboxes will be much more efficient in getting you noticed. Likewise if you want to target business professionals then street distribution around busy offices will get a much higher conversion rate for you. Whether it is street distribution or door to door leaflet delivery, knowing which locations to target will have a massive impact on its success. As long as you know your demographic, you will be able to identify where distributing will benefit you the most.

Direct marketing is becoming one of the most popular forms of advertising for companies all across the country. Using flyers to get your message across to a wide audience is an excellent way to promote services and create brand recognition.

However, unless those flyers are designed correctly, the message may be completely lost and the flyer delivery a complete waste of time. Including huge amounts of information on a small flyer will lead people to simply bin them as people’s attention spans are notoriously short.

In their simplest terms, a flyer is thought to be a small piece of paper or card which will be very succinct and get straight to the point. A leaflet on the other hand, may be bigger and contain multiple sides, offering more detailed information on products or services or offers.
