Vat Cut

After our post yesterday about jumping on the marketing band wagon once again the government seems to have thrown another huge spanner in the works, what a surprise !

Over the last couple of days there has been speculation about a lowering of the VAT level, and yes it has happened, but not for a few days, once again, similar to earlier in the year the Government has managed to kill a market.

We are coming up to one of the busiest weekends of the retail year, or at least we should be, with many high value items being purchased and an even greater number of lower value items for Christmas presents, these sales could be critical to many retail outlets, all have large stock holding which is obviously costing  a large amount of money to hold, and so need sales very quickly to increase cash flow.

The question is how many people are going out with their hard earned cash this weekend, knowing that next week prices may be reduced ?
