rates. There are so many variables, that a response rate can never be suggested or expected. Some products or services will always have a greater demand, and seasonal variations will also affect results. Target your distributions carefully thinking about all the possible negative elements that could effect the success of your distribution. |
Your Competitors. Do you know how many of your competitors are advertising in your area at the same time as you, or have been advertising recently ? Or have you started in a type of business that is the buzz word at the moment ? There are always 2 or 3 business styles that are the fashionable make money quick types at any one time, if you are one of the pioneers of these types then your advertising will often work very well, but as the market becomes over saturated, and often these ideas are then franchised, returns reduce greatly, there are lots of examples from a few years ago, examples such as timeshare holiday homes, and the multi level marketing schemes. What is a successful Campaign ? Everybody has different ideas as to what a successful campaign is, everyone has different hopes, but a successful campaign is multi faceted. Most people hopes are for instant sales, in some cases this will happen, but sales can happen weeks, months or even years after a campaign, so the person walking through the shop doorway or enquiring today may have seen advertising material a long time ago, or the material that is being delivered now, may bring leads or even sales in the future. A successful campaign is not just about sales, people seeing your company name, seeing a product offered, visiting a website, starting a thought process, these are all successes of a campaign. |

Building a Succesful Brand that has public awareness must be one of the most sought after properties any business can acheive, it is so sought after as very few companies actually acheive it. It is gained through the combination of financial input, time, having a product that your clients actually want or need, but probably the most important, is getting your advertising material infront of the public with a high frequency. The recall rate from seeing advertising media on just on one occasion will be very low, a percentage of consumers may glance at it, but unless, it is of prime concern to them at the moment they see it, it will probably be discarded, this is where frequent repetition will be beneficial, firstly, you may find the person that would be interested, secondly, you are on the long road to Brand Awareness. |
